Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Augmented Media Literacy, we provide digital tools for media analysis. Because our billing is managed by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record), all approved refunds will be processed directly through them.

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription (monthly or annual) at any time from your Account Profile. Once canceled, your subscription will not auto-renew, but you will retain access to the Premium features until the end of your current paid billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partially unused months.

EU Right of Withdrawal & Digital Goods

If you are a consumer located within the European Union (such as Finland) or the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.

Exception for Digital Content: By registering for a subscription and immediately utilizing our premium algorithmic analysis tools or downloading our browser extension, you expressly consent to receiving the digital content immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal.

Annual Plan US & Global Exceptions

For initial purchases of our Annual Subscription, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee if you find the tool is fundamentally incompatible with your workflow. Please contact our support team within 7 days of your transaction. Once approved, Paddle will route the funds back to your original payment method (this may take 5-10 business days).
